For this fantastic restoration project "Green Westy" we applied Absor-B sound insulation to realize extra comfort.

After a complete restoration of 6 years, the last step was extra comfort in the form of sound and heat insulation. For this project we have chosen 3 different Absor-B products.

Sound deadening 2mm thick for the doors and under the roof
Sound deadening 4mm thick for the bottom and over the wheel arches
PPE foam mats for heat insulation for the doors and side panels

Absor-B remains flexible in all weather conditions (hot or cold, damp or dry). As a result, it absorbs these resonances much better than, for example, bitumen damping materials that harden and therefore hardly absorb the vibrations.

Due to the flexible composition optimally suitable for uneven surfaces. By using this product in combination with a layer of Absor-B foam, a sandwich is created that has optimal damping and absorbing properties over a wide frequency range.
