Description

The heat-resistant silicone insulation sleeve is a high-quality protective solution for hoses and pipes against extreme heat and harmful influences. This sleeve protects against liquid metal and welding spatter, slag and resin formation, and provides protection against severe burns from metal braided hoses, valves, manifolds, and exhaust systems. Additionally, it helps reduce heat and energy loss and prevents overheating of the surroundings near hot hoses and other pipeline components.

Suitable for various industries such as foundries, glass factories, machine rooms, and more, the insulation sleeve is resistant to oils, fuels, and thermal fluids. The temperature range is continuously from -54°C to +260°C, with short-term protection up to 1650°C. Made from knitted fiberglass and coated with silicone rubber, the sleeve is flexible, aging resistant, and has a signal red color for increased heat resistance. The sleeve is certified according to DNV-GL up to 800°C for 30 minutes, in accordance with ISO15540 and ISO15541.
