Doosan DL550 exhaust insulation
In this application, the stainless steel exhaust system of a Doosan DL550 is insulated to prevent an engine fire that can occur due to contact with highly flammable fine dust from its working environment.
For this Doosan DL550 project, we insulated the exhaust to prevent an engine fire that could occur due to contact with highly flammable fine dust from its working environment.
The exhaust system is wrapped with 25 mm exhaust rope; this insulation layer is dust-tightly finished with aluminum tape. The large silencer is wrapped with aluminum exhaust shielding and secured with extra stainless steel multi-lok cable ties.
