About Heat-reflective hook-and-loop covers
These Kevlar insulation sleeves with velcro closure are fitted without dismantling anything: fold open, wrap around the cable or hose and press shut. Removing them for maintenance is just as easy.
When to choose velcro
On existing installations, disconnecting a cable loom or fuel line is often more work than the protection itself. The velcro closure solves that: the sleeve goes around the line instead of over it. That also makes this version ideal for periodic maintenance and inspections. If the cable can slide free, the closed reflective sleeve is more economical; for protection against welding spatter and sparks see the silicone insulation sleeve.

Which diameter should I choose?
Measure the outer diameter of the cable bundle or hose and choose the nearest size above it. Thanks to the velcro closure a small margin is no problem; sizes run from 13 to 60 mm.
Up to what temperature does the sleeve protect?
Up to 200 °C contact heat and 600 °C radiant heat, thanks to the combination of Kevlar sleeve and aluminium reflective layer.
Does the velcro stay closed under vibration?
Yes, the velcro closes along the full length and is intended for use in engine bays and on vehicles. During periodic maintenance, briefly check that the closure is still tight.
