About Premium heat-resistant insulating sleeve black 550 °C
The black premium insulation sleeve offers the same insulating performance as the cream white version, with a robust black outer side that handles dirt and intensive use better. Supplied in fixed lengths of 2.5 m each.
Application
Use the sleeve to insulate and shield hot pipes, hoses and wiring in engine bays, machines and installations. The black outer side blends into the engine bay and shows wear less quickly. Looking for larger diameters or loose metres, see the cream white premium sleeve; to repel radiant heat from outside there is the reflective sleeve.

Which size should I choose?
Measure the outer diameter of the pipe and choose the nearest size above it; the sleeves come in 6 to 30 mm. This is how you measure the right size.
What is the difference with the cream white version?
The insulating performance is the same; the black sleeve has a more robust outer side and comes in fixed lengths of 2.5 m, the cream white one in more sizes.
