The premium heat-resistant insulation sleeve is a flexible, lightweight fiberglass sleeve that primarily insulates: it keeps heat inside the pipe or firmly outside, up to 550 °C.
Insulating instead of reflecting
Where a reflective sleeve bounces radiant heat back, this sleeve builds an insulating layer around the pipe. Choose it to reduce incoming heat, to shield hot pipes more safely against touch, or to limit heat loss from the system. The black version has a robust outer side and fixed lengths of 2.5 m.

When do I choose the insulation sleeve instead of a reflective sleeve?
When insulating is the goal: keeping heat in or out through an insulating layer. Reflective sleeves are for radiant heat from an external source; this fiberglass sleeve works in both directions and itself withstands 550 °C.
