About Reflective foil
Reflective foil bounces radiant heat back before it warms a surface. Applied self-adhesively to bulkheads, tunnels, covers or pipes, the foil directly lowers the temperature of the protected part.
Silver or gold
Gold-coloured foil has a higher reflectivity and handles extreme temperatures better; silver-coloured foil is a cost-efficient choice for less demanding applications. Foils of metallised polyimide, such as DEI Reflect-A-Cool and the gold foils, are light and flexible and therefore easier to apply on complex or hard-to-reach spots. Frequently asked questions
When do I choose which reflective foil?
Gold for the highest reflectivity and extreme temperatures, silver as the cost-efficient choice; light polyimide foils for complex shapes. The maximum contact and radiant values are listed on every product.
How do I fit reflective foil?
The foils are self-adhesive: clean and degrease the surface, cut the foil to size, remove the liner and press on from the inside out to avoid air bubbles.
Can the foil be supplied custom-made?
Yes, the Premium V2 heat-resistant foil is available custom-made, based on your drawing or sample.
